Considering Moses lived about 2,500 years after Adam and Eve were created, from whom or from what ancient document(s) did Moses gain that information? Did Moses dream-up those names for instance in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10) having repopulated the earth, and the ten patriarchs preceding from Adam to Noah, or did they come from records from patriarchs as indicated by the phrase “these are the generations of . . (fill in the name)” used 17 times in book of Genesis since generations means origins, those records put on tablets and/or skins handed down to Moses for compilation?
