All-star NBA center Joel Embid’s black protective mask (of a broken eye-socket bone) is doing its job, and good on him for playing through his multiple injuries, yet imagine the uproar if not mere consternation should he wear a white mask instead, oh the horror, It wouldn’t be a mask “of color!”
