If Mark Zuckerberg (who owns Facebook) were trying to buy Twitter, an investigation by the Federal Trade Commission for antitrust transgression would be appropriate, but Elon Musk owns no other social media platform in addition to Twitter which he’s buying, no antitrust there, thus an investigation by the FTC is obviously a tactic to delay Musk’s ownership until after the midterm elections.
