If for no other reason to believe that the Garden of Eden (with the rest of the world) was destroyed by Noah’s Flood is that four great rivers, the Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel, and Euphrates flowed from only one fountainhead where was the Garden of Eden, thus that the Euphrates river on today’s maps along with the Gihon Spring of Jerusalem were named for two of the four great pre-Flood rivers which flowed from the Garden of Eden probably near the center of the pre-Flood supercontinent Pangea.
