Tell U. S. Colleges & Universities to Forgive or Renegotiate Student Loan Debt Huge Endowments Could Fill the Bill?

Student loan debt is owed to the colleges and universities, so why shouldn’t the onus of forgiving student loan debt be put on the colleges and universities rather than on the U. S. taxpayer?
