By their “poison pill” against Elon Musk taking control of Twitter, the board of directors has made the rule that should Musk obtain 15% of Twitter shares (he now has 9%), then new shares of stock will be issued for Twitter shareholders to buy at half the market price, thus diluting Musk’s share percentage, so his plan B might be to recruit an alliance of investors for each to buy just 14% of the stock, enough together to overhaul the board of directors and then the alliance completing the deal with Musk.
