Legendary Urashima Taro of Japan’s ancient lore saved a turtle which turned out to be a princess who took him beneath the waves to Ryugu-Jo, the Dragon Palace, that story an allusion mythologically to the magnificent megalithic structures of Guzuku-like style submerged off Yonaguni Island, including a huge carving of a turtle, submerged there not far from Taiwan at the tip of the Ryukyu Islands of Japan where tombs of turtle form are common, for the longevity of the living (because turtles live a long time), the living who give sacrifices to their dead ancestors at the tombs, worshipping the created not the Creator.
