Elohim through his mercy and benevolence gave hope, even confidence, to Adam and Eve after their Fall by promising to Eve that through her seed, the father of lies Satan would be defeated (see Genesis 3: 15), the first prophecy (among hundreds following) in the Word about the Messiah Jesus (Yehoshua) who would incarnate (in Joseph’s wife Mary by Holy Spirit), die on the cross, then resurrect so that all who will embrace His sacrifice and offering of salvation shall be saved from eternal damnation.
