Ron DeSantis may be down to 15% in the polls (Trump at 70%?), but we don’t really know as the polling companies seem to have stopped polling that race, yet even the establishment news media types are saying DeSantis is slipping in the polls, so considering the Florida stare legislature has not voted to make DeSantis eligible to run in 2024, this could be DeSantis’ escape route, that the people of Florida want him to stay governor (“because he’s doing such a good job”) for him to run against somebody other than Trump in 2028 when he would probably have a much better chance of winning.
