Trump’s baseline defense in the Georgia case is that he certainly thought (and still does) that the 2020 election in Georgia was rigged for Biden (in what by legitimate-ballots-only would have been a Trump win by hundreds of thousands of votes), this all that he would need to defend himself and win the case in Fulton County court, because to be convicted of trying to steal an election, it would have to be proven that the “perp” knew that the election was not rigged, a far cry from Trump’s thinking then and now.
