Undoubtedly almost all of the Republican Florida state legislators love DeSantis as governor, and hope that he’ll become president, but in 2028 not in 2024 when he’d have to try to takedown Trump thus to risk getting flamed into political oblivion (or nearly so) which could all but end his presidential hopes forever, thus that they’ll not vote to release DeSantis from his obligation under Florida law to stay as governor until his term ends in 2026; and more of them for Trump this time to right the 2020 wrong?
