Progeny of Japheth’s great grandson Ujur (the Uighers of western China) called progeny of Ham’s son Canaan the Khitai, of Heth the namesake of the Hittites (see Genesis 10), hence Cathay another name for China (Sino) named for Sin another son of Canaan, also for the Sinai and the wilderness of Zin.
