Will Florida’s MAGA Republican Legislators Say DeSantis Should Stay Governor Finish His Second Term in 2026 for 2028 Run?

If the Democrats in the Florida state legislature actually think Trump would be easier for the Democrat presidential nominee to beat than would be DeSantis in the 2024 presidential election, they’ll vote in the upcoming legislative session (starts March 8) to not change the law which currently precludes a current office holder (DeSantis) from running for another office, to join the MAGA Republicans in the Florida legislature to see-to-it-that DeSantis will serve out his term, then run for the presidency in 2028.
