As we pray for the Turks suffering from the two huge earthquakes in south-central Turkey (near the northeastern corner of the Mediterranean), it’s interesting that was the homeland of Abram who later was by Elohim named Abraham, his childhood and young adult home at the headwaters of the Balikh river (which flows south to the Euphrates) at the city of Urfa, near Haran who was Abram’s brother, both sons of Terah the astrologer near where structures such as Gobekli Tepe seem geared to such.
