While it may be true that Jeff Bezos wants to sell the Washington Post, it’s not because he needs the cash in order to buy the NFL team Washington Commanders rather it’s probably a combination that he’s tired being on the frontlines of politics in this era of America’s Heckler (Donald Trump), seeing the number of subscribers to the Washington Post dwindled by about 20% during the last two years. Bezos is worth about $150 billion while The Washington Post is worth maybe $1 billion and the Commanders perhaps $10 billion, small potatoes in Bezos’ world and the Commanders a better bet than the Post.
