House Speaker Kevin McCarthy could undermine Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign by leading a drive to impeach president Biden which would all but erase Biden from 2024 contention yet would give more energy to Merrick Garland’s push to prosecute Trump. Don’t put this past McCarthy who has proven to be a back-stabber, a UniParty guy at heart who though is talking a good game, so far.
