The Republicans in the U. S. House of Representatives should just leave the abortion issue alone since the best that could be asked for was the overturn of Roe v. Wade for each state to decide the issue, not the Congress, it’s up to the states by the 10th Amendment to decide how far abortion should go, as the Founding Fathers intended for situations not mentioned in the U. S Constitution.
