Apparently Kevin McCarthy, a Swamp creature to the end it seems, selectively leaked that a deal was done last night with those 20 arrayed against him, so today Scott Perry (among the 20) tweeted that “a deal is Not done” and that “when confidences are betrayed and leaks are directed, it (the concessions granted by McCarthy thus far) is even more difficult to trust.”
