Among Atlas’ legendary daughters (the Atlantides or the Hesperides) were the Horae (same etymology as years and hours)i, 12 goddesses of portions of time suggestive of the 12 houses of the zodiac (see Page titled Great Pyramid for Navigation) and/or the 12 months of the year such that Plato’s 9,000 horas before Solon’s day for the demise of Atlantis meant 9,000 months, not 9,000 years.
