You can quickly gain the attention and interest of youngsters about the historical accuracy of the Bible, all the way back in Genesis, by informing that Adam and Eve were the first humans to record holy writ, that which they experienced as “these are the generations of . . . . (fill in the name)” written 17 times in the Old Testament means “these are the origins of . . . . (fill in the name),” the colophon at the bottom of tablet or skin written by the scribe of the biblical character or by that one himself, the names and events in Holy Scripture which each of those 17 lived. The first colophon in the Bible is closing the description of the six days of creation, “these are the generations (origins) of the heavens and the earth,” witnessed by Elohim before and while the first human was created on the sixth day.
