The latest Emerson poll shows Trump leading DeSantis 55% to 25%, leading most among Republican voters with a high school degree and those who don’t by 71% to DeSantis’ 15%, among those with a college degree, some college, or an associate’s degree, 53% to 28%, among postgraduates, 32% to 29%. Trump leads too in all of the age demographics, 67% to 14% among those under age 50, leading by 54% to 32% among the age 50 to 64, and among the over 65 leading by 39% to 32%, that’s old over-educated Republicans (RINO’s) least likely to back Trump (although still more likely to than to back DeSantis).
