Trump knows that Kevin McCarthy is no true ally because for instance he (McCarthy) is not talking about calling Pelosi before the U. S. House to answer questions about her complicity in the Capitol invasion on J6, so McCarthy will be in essence on probation for the next two years under Trump’s watchful eye; the question now does McCarthy want to be House Speaker for more than two years?
