Why Do Talking Heads Say Big Early Voter Turnout Favors Democrats as Republican Turnout Much Bigger in Primaries?

The Republican turnout during the primaries was about 50% greater than the Democrat turnout, so why would the establishment media talking heads be saying that the high early voting turnout favors the Democrats other than that the talking heads are trying to turn lemons into lemonade?
