Canaanites having made the Levant their home after the Tower of Babel eventually worshipped Canaan’s father Ham as Baal Hamon, also worshipped by Canaanites during the Ice Age at the Siwa Oasis (five hundred miles west of Cairo and a hundred miles inland from the Mediterranean in a basin fifty feet below sea level) which became very popular when the Ice Age ended, an oasis (having received much artesian flow from the high ground nearby) such that the Egyptians came to live with whom later would be called Berbers, where the Egyptians built their temple to Amon, same as Baal Hamon.
