S. presidential election in 1980, challenger Ronald Reagan predicted that the incumbent president Jimmy Carter would announce that the Iranian hostages had been freed, Reagan having predicted an “October Surprise” which though didn’t happen, so might Biden have an October Surprise, perhaps to announce the pulling of the plug on the Iranian nuclear deal? Probably not.
