Joshua Led Israelites After Conquering Jericho Up the Wadi el Gayeh to Destroy Canaanite Ai Then North to Shechem

From Jericho just west of where the Jordan river enters the Dead Sea, the conquering Israelites under Joshua circa 1400 b. c. headed northwest up Wadi el Gayeh about fifteen miles to the Canaanite city of Ai (Khirbet el-Maqatir) which they eventually conquered, then proceeded north about thirty miles along the Way of the Patriarchs to Shechem where Joshua built an altar to Yahweh (Elohim), this confirmed by the discovery of a small amulet or folded tablet made of lead (from Greek mines of Laurion!) discovered by Dr. Scott Stripling near the altar made of unfinished stones ((following Elohim’s direction) unearthed by Adam Zertal on Mount Ebal, the tiny lead tablet pronouncing curses on the enemies of Yahweh.
