Catalan (far northeastern Spain) legend holds that Japheth’s son Tubal sailed from the Levant circa 2100 b. c. to the Iberian peninsula to settle where today is known as the Tarragon province, where too is the Ebro river named for Peleg’s father Eber (Hebrew), members of those tribes together as they were also in the Caucasus region, the land of the Thobelites and Iberians along with the Moschi who were progeny of Japheth’s son Meshech. The Tiber river of Italy may’ve been named for Tubal when you consider that the l and the r sounds are sometimes mixed, and the cyclopean ruins of Italy clearly built by Pelasgians.
