Did King Charles Disqualify Himself as Monarch Defender of the Faith in His Saying That He’s Defender of the Faiths?

The king (or queen) of England is tasked with being a defender of the faith (the Good News of Jesus Christ), so having said that he’s a defender of the faiths (plural) in his recent speech after Elizabeth’s passing, didn’t Charles disqualify himself as king considering that Jesus said that He is “the way, the truth, and the life,” that no person comes to the Father but by Jesus the Messiah?
