In their opening game of the season, the Oklahoma Sooners’ true freshman Jovantae Barnes showed sparks of brilliance, his acceleration on a few plays quite amazing, so if he can learn to run to daylight more than like a heat-seeking missile into tacklers, he could emerge the Sooners’ premier running back.(In other words, at 200 lbs he needs to be more Tony Dorsett than Jerome Bettis.)
