Not only did Dardanus attend the wedding of the Canaanite Cadmus to Harmonia, reportedly Ogyges attended too, Dardanus and Ogyges for whom was named the flooding caused by the end of the Ice Age, those two commonly considered to have lived in the 1400 b. c. timeframe when the “Phoenicians” (Canaanites) led by Cadmus’ brother Phoenix were bringing phonetic alphabet to the Mediterranean.
