After the Flood Tubal-Cain’s Name Used for Son of Japheth & Kenites Metallurgists of Abraham’s Progeny the Midianites

Just as two of the four rivers in the pre-Flood world became the names of two rivers after the Flood, the Gihon spring at the head of the Wadi Kidron of Jerusalem, and the Euphrates of Mesopotamia, likewise the name of the great pre-Flood metallurgist Tubal-Cain was used for the name of Japheth’s son Tubal, and the metallurgists of the Midians (progeny of Abraham by Keturah) the Kenites from the name Cain.
