If Trump runs in 2024, Ron DeSantis would lose to him in the primaries (if he would choose to run), so assuming DeSantis has presidential ambitions and really is a MAGA guy, should Trump invite him to run for vice president on the Republican ticket, DeSantis should accept that role, thus that in 2028 he’d be the frontrunner for president, to continue the MAGA thrust, the Tea Party movement pushing ahead.
