Notice No Assault Weapons Carried by Jan. 6th Participants Except Flagpoles & Fists But They Don’t Count Right?

If the Jan. 6th trespass by protesters into the Capitol building were actually an assault intended to overthrow the U. S. government, then why weren’t there any “assault weapons” involved?
