When the apostle Peter cut-off the right ear of the Roman soldier Malchus, he (Peter) apparently was attempting a downward stroke of the sword onto the head of Malchus which though glanced off and down cutting off his ear, yet not continuing down into the shoulder, so when Jesus healed his ear back on, Malchus must have felt truly blessed by the Creator Elohim, having lost only an ear from a death blow and the ear put back on for good measure, so do you suppose he became born again?
