Had the state police in New York taken the kid who would become the Buffalo murderer to court for a judge’s ruling about his mental condition (the police did evaluate him) a year ago when his online posts and manifesto were raising alarm, he wouldn’t have committed those murders, so doesn’t it seem that the New York state police allowed that white supremacist threatening violence to continue on his merry way, seemingly hoping he’d carry-through on his threats?
