Are Congressional Democrats Willing to Legislate Legal Protests at Justices’ Homes During Midterm Election Campaign?

Since protesting at the homes of federal judges is illegal per 18 U. S. Code 1507, why aren’t the Republicans in Congress challenging the Democrats to legislate that such protests be legal?
