Yesterday Kevin McCarthy said that he didn’t know that Nancy Pelosi had refused to deploy National Guard troops offered by president Trump to protect the U. S. Capitol on Jan. 6th, which for one, is not believable, and for two, doesn’t answer why he as House minority leader didn’t make sure that Pelosi was doing her job to protect the Capitol, unless he believed there couldn’t be agents provocateur and some rampaging election integrity advocates among about a million gathered near Capitol Hill that day.
