The early church (from the word circle meaning congregation), the body of the born again believers in the decades following the Messiah’s physical death then resurrection, called themselves brothers and sisters, in Christ, or disciples of Messiah Jesus, or people of The Way as Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life, that nobody comes to the Father but by Him.
