Yesterday Elon Musk sent Twitter a letter saying he’d like to buy all of the Twitter stock for $54/share (it closed yesterday at $46 and is up 18% in overnight trading on the news). Musk says if the deal doesn’t happen he may sell the Twitter stock he already owns ($3 billion worth) which would probably send the stock into a downward spiral, good leverage for Musk’s deal to be completed.
