The global flood hero was memorized in ancient Mesopotamian records, Noah in the book of Genesis, Utnapisthtim in Sumerian writings, and Ziusudra or Atrahasis in Akkadian, who was said to have helped build (after the Flood) the grain-repository city of Shuruppak in Mesopotamia, and then according to the Epic of Gilgamesh, moved to Dilmun (where today is Bahrain), his influence and legend spread to the Indus Valley Civilization where he was worshipped as Manu, the father of mankind (after Noah’s Flood).
