Israel is not strongly backing Ukraine in its defense against Russia because the Russians in Syria having preserved Assad’s presidency against the Arab Spring Islamists are ostensibly restraining the Iranian forces in Syria from trying to intrude into Israel, and now Russia’s patrol vehicles in southern Syria sporting the letter Z for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, just a reminder to Israel.
