Even the Romans had no explanation for The Empty Tomb after Jesus arose from the dead, along with the tens of thousands of Jews in Jerusalem who had no logical reason to think otherwise either, thus that when the Gospels were put to paper, thousands of the Jews in Jerusalem when Jesus had prayed, taught, and healed were still alive and none contested those written Gospel accounts, nor any Romans. Keep in mind that many Jews knew by Daniel 9 that the Messiah would live in the day that Jesus did, expected by many, although that He would be “cut-off” confusing perhaps to most of them (not realizing He would resurrect that all the nations would be blessed through the seed of Abraham.
