When washed-up Mike Pence is his speech in essence said that what Trump wanted him to do about the Electoral College votes on Jan. 6th was unAmerican, he severed all possibility of ever courting Trump voters should he (Trump) decide not run in 2024, courtship which he (Pence) could have seen somewhat fruitful had he not thrown-down the gauntlet in his curious yet not really surprising speech, seemingly political suicide, self-martyrdom “just doing what’s right,” a great way to fade away.
