Reportedly Putin is messaging to the Russian people that he’s considering an invasion of Ukraine because Russian-speaking Ukrainians are being threatened in the border regions and because NATO is preparing to invade Russian territory to the north, the former only because the Russians are already fighting the Ukrainians on Ukraine soil, the latter untrue as probably well known to the vast majority of the Russian people, after all, NATO has never tried to take Russian territory throughout its seventy year history, so why would they do that now unless wanting war with Russia?
