If Europe and the U. S. were actually opposed to Russian territorial aggression, wouldn’t they seek to increase U. S. oil and gas production so that they wouldn’t be dependent on Russian energy anymore? Europe and the U. S. are not only funding the Russian military by their purchases of Russian oil and gas, they also are in jeopardy of being cut-off by Russia, an odd circumstance to say the least.
