Magnetic reversals in the earth’s past are frozen in the ocean floor lava rocks, mineral grains in those lava rocks which took weeks to cool, proving the reversals within weeks, just like the magnetic reversals indicated by the orientations of the minerals in sedimentary rocks, also laid down in a matter of weeks, not millions of years.
