Bilad al Sham Named for Noah’s Son Shem Region of Syria & Technically All the Way to Sham i Bala in Shadow of Himalayas

Progeny of Shem’s sons Aram and Arphaxad settled in the region today known as Syria, to the Arabs (progeny Heber’s son Joktan) that region known as the land of Shem (Bilad al Sham), yet the Arameans such as Uz settled (where today is Uzbekistan) as far east as Sham I Bala where Shem was worshipped as the sun god like the Assyrians (progeny of Shem’s son Asshur) worshipped him as Shamash.
