Ex NFL great Tim Brown says that John Gruden used the phrase “rubber lips” for liars, the reason back in 2011 that Gruden said NFL Players’ Association president DeMaurice Smith (during a time of labor strife) had “lips like two Michelin tires.” The question now is who obtained and gave Gruden’s private emails to the New York Times, and do you really think that dozens of other NFL coaches white as well as black haven’t engaged in such base personal banter even more off-putting to many so woke?
