How Does NBC Know That 20,000 More Haitians Headed to U. S. Southern Border Aren’t More Details Owed?

NBC News is reporting that 20,000 more Haitians are headed to the U. S., so how does NBC know that? Shouldn’t they tell us whether by plane or by ship and who’s paying for it?
