To have fed over two million Israelites wandering in the wilderness between Egypt and the Promised Land would have been impossible for Moses without the provision by Elohim of daily supply of bread and quail for that expansive throng despite the fact that in those days when the Ice Age was ending, plant-life still abounded such that for the the feast of Sukkot the Israelites were instructed to gather branches of myrtle, citron (citrus), date palm, and willow, where today is all parched desert.
